The Difference Between my Kids

I took the boys out to Subway for dinner tonight. We decided to share a bag of chips and a pack of cookies to go with our sandwiches.

Ryan scarfed down his sandwich, plowed through some Doritos, and then pulled a chocolate chip cookie out of the bag and ate about half of it in one bite.

Aaron ate his sandwich slowly, enjoyed a few Doritos before deciding they were "getting too spicy." He reached into the cookie bag, and then stopped and looked around the table. "Where's your cookie, Mommy?" he asked when he noticed there was only one cookie left in the bag.

"They only put two cookies in a package," I replied, still working on my sandwich because I'm the slowest eater in the universe.

"Oh," Aaron answered, thinking about the situation. "Do you want me to split this with you?" he offered, preparing to tear his cookie in half.

"No thanks, sweetie," I said, touched by his kind gesture. "You go ahead and enjoy it."

"You can split it with me!" Ryan shouted around his own chocolate chip cookie, which he'd just shoved into his mouth in an attempt to make it disappear.

Hard to believe they both rented the same womb, isn't it?

Your boys are cool. I'm interested in them, especially the younger brother. The little boy is warm-hearted like every small kids, he makes you laugh and feel better.
